A stunning, low-maintenance, long flowering, impactful perennial that must be found in any classic cottage garden. It is often used as a substitute for Lavender, as it can tolerate a wider range of growing conditions and is often just as impactful.

- From May until the first frost, a mass of vibrant, silvery-blue flowers are borne on long spikes above the foliage, forming a robust, scraggily mound of colour.

- The small, highly aromatic grey-green foliage forms soft, densely packed mounds that are very easily maintained.

- Flowers will become spent, usually around mid-July, when the whole plant can be cut back to 1-2 inches. This will encourage a fresh flush of flowers and foliage that will see through the remainder of the growing season.

- Suitable for any full sun location provided there is well-draining soil, and will also grow well in dappled shade. It is drought tolerant once established, and will also grow well in coastal conditions. It makes a fantastic cut flower too!

- The flowers are an absolute magnet for many pollinators, particularly a wide range of bees.

- Your cat/neighbourhood cat will be sure to thank you for this addition too, as our feline friends find Nepeta highly irresistible, and can often be found rolling around in them before entering the therapeutic 'zen' phase that soon follows.

- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 80-100cm.

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
