Saxifraga x urbium 'Variegata'

A very hardy and colourful ground cover plant, also known as 'London Pride'.  

- From late spring to early summer, sprays of small pink to white flowers are produced on tall branching stems that rise above the foliage, forming airy clouds of colour.

- The attractive variegated foliage occurs in compact rosettes which slowly spread as a ground cover, and, as it is evergreen, provides year-round interest. 

- A reliable and impactful plant that thrives best in semi-shaded areas, and is very drought-tolerant once established. It can also tolerate some deeper shade, and a reasonable level of full sun, providing it is not kept in exposed scorching conditions. It does not like areas that retain too much water, or are too wet during the winter months. The perfect plant for rockeries, growing between shrubs and perennials in mixed borders, raised beds, pots, or for growing on shaded walls and crevices.

- The flowers will attract a wide range of pollinators.

- Height and Spread approx. 20-30cm x 30-50cm.
