Aptly named, this compact perennial is an absolute magnet for butterflies, amongst other pollinators.
- Large, pincushion, lavender blue double flowers are borne on delicate, wispy stems from June until September/October. Deadhead regularly for best flowering results.
- Ferny, lobed, grey-green foliage forms a neat rounded clump beneath the airy flowers.
- Thrives best in full sun with well-draining soil, as it does not like to be too wet during the winter months. Its informal, dainty habit fits right in with cottage garden-style planting, wildlife gardens, and also looks great in pots as the flowers spill over the sides. Also good for rockeries, coastal and Mediterranean gardens, raised beds and mixed borders.
- The wide, flat flower heads make a great landing platform for butterflies, bees, hoverflies and other beneficial pollinators.
- Height and Spread approx. 40-60cm x 40-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
