Scabiosa 'Pink Mist'

Known as Pincushion flower due to its distinctive blooms, this attractive, low-maintenance, long-flowering perennial should be a staple in every garden. 

- Soft, button-like, light pink frilly flowers are produced continuously and in abundance on dainty stems, from early summer typically until the first frost. Deadhead regularly for best flowering results.

-Grey-green foliage forms dense, rounded, compact mounds, and are fern-like in appearance due to the deeply lobed form.

- Requires full sun and well-draining soil, that does not retain too much water during the winter months. Its a wonderful plant for pots and edging raised beds, as the dainty flowers spill elegantly over the edge. Also very suitable to wildlife and cottage garden, rockeries, coastal and Mediterranean gardens.

- The wide, flat flower heads make a great landing platform for butterflies, bees, hoverflies and other beneficial pollinators.
