This late flowering, succulent leafed perennial is a real performer from both its foliage and flowering display.

- From July until October/November, it will be covered in wide flat plates of densely packed star-shaped flowers, bright pink in colour which later mature to a deeper pink-red. The rounded green to light-pink flower buds will start to form in June, providing some early interest before the buds open.

- The foliage is in itself a very attractive feature for this stunning perennial. Deep blue green variegated leaves have yellow to cream margins.

- A fantastic performer in cottage gardens, pots, rockeries, and coastal gardens, its thick, succulent foliage gives it a good tolerance for drought once established. Requires full sun, but will grow well in dappled shade with well draining soil. It also works very well as a cut flower.

- The old flower heads can be left for the winter months, as they can add a bit of winter interest in the garden. Alternatively, the whole plant can be cut back to ground level and mulched after it goes into its winter dormancy, usually from December onwards.

- The large, flat flower heads are a great landing platform for a wide range of butterflies and bees, amongst a wide range of other pollinator species.

- Height and Spread approx. 45-60cm x 60cm.

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
