An eye-catching perennial with a sturdy upright form, and tends to flower longer than other Solidago varieties, while also having a tidier, non-spreading habit.
- From late July into late autumn, long arching sprays of golden yellow flowers burst into colour, giving the impression of exploding fireworks. Blooms are long-lasting, making them perfect for cut flowers too.
- Light green, slightly toothed foliage has darker, bronze tones on the younger growth, giving a nice backdrop against the bright flowers while also providing some spring interest before the flowers are produced.
- Will grow well in any full sun location, and can also tolerate dappled shade. It is a good medium height addition for later season colour in mixed perennial or shrub borders, while also being a classic choice for prairie-style planting.
- The flowers will attract a wide range of pollinators, especially those relying on late-season flowers.
- Height and Spread approx. 80-100cm x 60-90cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
