Thalictrum 'Elin'

A very tall, very stunning, upright perennial that is relatively easy to grow, but may require some bamboo staking to support the tall flowering stems. One of the tallest varieties of Meadow Rue. 

- In summer, hazy sprays of small lavender pink flowers are produced on tall, dark stems that stretch way above the foliage. Creamy-yellow stamens protrude out of each small flower, giving a two-toned appearance.  

- From mid-spring, the dark blue-green lush foliage will start to emerge, forming a dense clump of delicate leaves.

- A true statement plant to add height and architectural structure to the garden. It is hardy, but a sheltered site is preferred to help protect the tall stems from wind damage. Thrives anywhere in semi-shade and full sun where it doesn't dry out. A must-have for any garden requiring a bit of height in cottage gardens and mixed beds. It is also very good as a cut flower.

- Great for pollinators, and will appeal to a wide range of bees and butterflies in particular.
