Thalictrum 'Splendide White'

A stunning variety of Meadow Rue that is reasonably compact when compared to its other  Thalictrum cousins. However, it will still add height, structure and architectural interest to your garden beds. 

- From late June until September, an abundance of small, fluffy white flowers are produced in clustered sprays on tall branching stems, creating an airy cloud of elegant colour. 

- Lacy mid-green leaves form a dense mound of fresh foliage at the base of the plant.

- Thrives best in semi-shade, but also works well in full sun if it doesn't dry out. A truly stunning plant for cottage gardens, mixed beds and prairie-style planting, and can make an excellent cut flower. Should not require staking as it's more compact than other Thalictrum varieties, but may prefer a sheltered site to prevent any wind damage from occurring. 

- Also a great plant for pollinators, and will appeal to a wide range of bees and butterflies in particular. 

- Height and Spread approx. 150-200cm x 60-90cm.
