Also known as Golden Spikenard, this clump-forming perennial is primarily grown for its vibrant early spring foliage.
- From early to mid-summer, sprays of small white flowers are produced on almost bare upright stems that rise above the foliage.
- The compact, slowly spreading foliage is its main attraction - starting its growth in February/March with bright butter-yellow leaves, most vibrant in a full-sun location. As we progress into summer, the foliage fades to bright green, just as the flowers are starting to show.
- A beautiful low-maintenance perennial for a bit of early spring interest to brighten up the garden. Perfect for full sun or semi-shade, it would make a great addition to the edges or middle sections of flower beds, mixed borders, cottage gardens, or coastal gardens.
- Its flowers will attract a range of beneficial pollinators.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 40-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
