A tall and graceful upright, robust perennial will add height, architectural interest and structure to your garden beds.
- From late June/July until September/October, long, elegant spikes of small white flowers with protruding fluffy orange stamens are produced in clusters on top of tall upright stems.
- Narrow, pointed green leaves are arranged in whorls along the sturdy stems.
- A very attractive plant that grows best in semi-shade, but also works well in full sun if it doesn't dry out and is sheltered from scorching. A great addition for height and structure in cottage gardens, mixed beds and prairie-style planting. It is also known to thrive in damp soil, and so could make a stunning pond margins and bog gardens.
- A magnet for pollinators, and will be covered in bees and bumblebees, amongst others, all throughout its flowering time.
- Height and Spread approx. 120-180cm x 60-90cm.
